I was born and raised in the Burlington area and have lived there my entire life. I was the middle of 5 children growing up. I met my husband in high school and we have been married since 1995. We have 5 children –2 sons and 3 daughters. One of them is my cousin’s son, who came to live with when he was 13. He went through some unfortunate circumstances early in life, but we were able to give him a stable home and turn his life around. It wasn’t easy, but has honestly been one of the most rewarding experiences for my entire family. I also recently became a grandma to two little boys that are 5 months apart. I’m trying to enjoy every moment, as they grow up way too fast! I received my Associates Degree and worked in healthcare for 10 years. I was then given an opportunity to work in the mortgage industry, where I have been now since 2002. I have done various positions within this industry from processing loans, office management, assisting various branch managers as well as co-owning a mortgage broker company for 4 years. I got my license in 2014 and have been originating loans full time ever since. I think with learning the process on the back end to start, it has allowed me to thoroughly understand the entire loan process and it has helped me to be able to explain it in detail to my clients and answer any questions that they have. I love being able to be part of such an exciting time in someone’s live –whether they’re making one of the biggest purchases they will ever make or refinancing to save money. I enjoy working with all clients, but especially enjoy first time homebuyers. I always make myself readily available and make it a priority to respond promptly and to assist in any way that I can. I can honestly say that I love my job!
